So nothing is official yet, but I finally started drafting my resignation letter. Which at least means I'm genuinely committing to the idea of leaving not just my job, but the funeral industry altogether. Survival is going to be the hard part, because a guaranteed paycheck every two weeks definitely beats hoping I'll have enough jewelry sales or subscribers on the premium side to make it through. But when have I ever been a traditional person, or a traditional career path person?
It's going to be scary but hopefully after I've had some time to decompress from the last few years of bullshit, I'll have a much more genuine and fulfilling life! Having to spend most of my time as [deadname] instead of Dax has a palpable affect. I don't want to not be authentically me anywhere ever again. And then I can focus more time on making content for here, as well as working on my own jewelry business and doing more streaming online between tiktok & twitch!

In the meantime, now that my boss is finally back from his fucking African Safari, I booked a trip to see Michael again! It's been almost 2 months and it's been HARD not getting his kisses or cuddles while eating cheese in bed together. It'll be my longest trip yet too! Almost a full week! I can't wait, and I don't know what to pack! We may go to a kinky convention so that's one kind of outfit, or we might go to the beach which is a totally different outfit! We'll see lol. But hopefully my favourite photographer helps me get some good shots again.

Might be some limited availability for me on here and @theaudaxxxity for a few days! We got hit hard by Hurricane Beryl and the only time I have internet is when I'm at work. We've been on generator power at home for about a day and a half, and I've got like no cell service except for texts and phone calls at home. 😖 Hope everyone else in the trajectory is doing okay!
On the bright side, my order from SquidlyCo is almost ready and I can't wait to shoot some footage! One of the pieces is gonna have a suction cup, which I've never used before, and I hope it opens up some new positions for me lol!

In light of the Etsy changes where adult "insertable" toys are being banned from the platform, it's more important than ever to support businesses on their own websites! I'm so excited to get both of these, and hopefully I'll be able to upgrade the Thalia to a suction cup base for, uh, easier and more dynamic use... I requested them both in that green moss agate pour, so all of mine will match!

I was able to commission my boyfriend for a special Tomb Raider piece, and his lead designer did an AMAZING job putting it together! I can't wait to give you guys the sneak preview once it arrives!!!
