When I was 18 and got my first job at a big concert venue, I worked concessions and this man came up and asked my name, told me I was beautiful, and that he would be off when I got off at 2am. I can’t even call it a one night stand because of the connection we had. A couple months later he came to visit and photographed me in the hotel after we tripped on shrooms, drank, danced, and fucked all night. It was one of the best times I had. He was an amazing photographer, videographer, and has worked on a bunch of big name movies. His work always moves me. I would love to reconnect with him again someday, even though we both are at different places in our lives to where it wouldn’t be the same. But I’m so glad to have met this person and had that instant connection! Amongst many bad experiences I had as a model after this, I like to consider these moments as something pure, raw, and unlike anything else anyone has captured of me.
