I work in a warehouse and it’s pretty dirty so my wardrobe varies a lot from dress pants/ skirts to jeans. It all depends on what is on my schedule, and what bigwigs will be in the building.
You might notice some of these pictures have captions on them… they’re referring to what I like to call “wardrobe gate”. There is an older person here that hates how I dress. Constantly complaining about my clothes, hemline, shoes, neckline you name it there’s a complaint. It’s very frustrating because we don’t really have a dress code in that we have to wear business attire, we can wear jeans and t shirts because where I am we don’t deal with our public accounts. The issue is that our dress code is so loose that others take it upon themselves to interpret the dress code how they see it. The dress code literally says don’t wear ripped jeans and no flip flops, and dresses, shorts and skirts must be mid thigh. THATS IT! So I would document my outfit each day that I was spoken to. And I built a case and eventually reported the whole office to HR because of the daily comments that were harassing towards me and instead of single someone out I made the complaint against the whole office. Needless to say I won and can pretty much wear what I want now. The old bitter person was told to not speak to me 😂 and everyone else in the office thanked me because it kind of shut them up. We all know the person is bitter and needs to retire but can’t because they hate their home life so they try to make ours as miserable as they are
