The monastery, famous for its viticulture, was one of the oldest and most important cisterns in Germany, founded in 1136! Today, the Eberbach monastery is home to the Hessian state wineries - the largest German winery today. The entire complex is a listed building and must be visited if you're ever there!!! Kisses 😘
