2020-06-28 22:18:27 +0000 UTC View PostFive things I’m grateful for: 1. My thyroid dose!! I’m feeling like a new woman! I was able to hit all my goals this week without needing to take 3 naps during the day. I was able to finish my video this week, even though it was frustrating. 2. I’m really grateful to everyone who bought my new video. And the ones who tipped extra on top of the fantasy video. If you’ve never put your heart into something creative THEN TRIED TO SELL IT, you’ll never know the type of fear and hurt that comes with that when it doesn’t go well. The uncertainty eats me alive sometimes, and I want to be better at that. I want to be more resilient. I want to be able to open onlyfans when I’m done with a creative project, not hide away from it. But that mindset takes time, so as I work on that, I still want to take the time to be grateful to the ones who support me no matter what. 3. I’m grateful for my friends. Today marks the first day of my own personal lockdown. My parents are really scared about the virus still and they said that I can’t see them unless I lock myself down for 14 days. So I made sure to see my friends yesterday morning at the market and it was just such a blast. I’m truly grateful for my small circle of good friends. 4. I’m grateful for my job. It’s so fulfilling to reach and connect with so many different people. I’ve even been lucky enough to help some of you in the struggles that you’re going through. It helps me to be there for you. It cures my sadness to help others. It's also super rewarding to work countless hours on something only to have it blow up. It’s all worth it. I love this work, so much. 5. Hope. I’m grateful for hope. It’s so easy to say that hope is lost amidst these times. But during hard times is exactly when hope perseveres. It’s exactly when we need the most hope in order to push for change. I heard about The Earn It Act and immediately rejected it. I immediately said “there’s nothing that I can do, I don’t have a voice.’ After sleeping on that headspace, I woke up the next day and realized how dumb that was. I immediately got to work and realized that I can, in fact, use my voice in *hopes* to stop this from happening. To feel powerless is to actually be powerless. To lose the control you have of your body, MIND, and life. If you sit back and take whatever happens to you, you're giving up your mind. I don’t want to sit back. I like my mind. I want to keep her safe. So I won't use the "I feel powerless" card to not fight right now.

I call this “Slowdown Sunday.” If you wanted to join in and share your week's intentions, you can screenshot my snapchat story (zescarn) or reply below (: Ze's 5 Intentions for the week of June 28th" 🌸 This week I will go 7 days eating clean. The more I eat consistently clean, the better I will feel, the better I will look, and the better my body will be able to handle a cheat day in the future. 🌸 This week I will get online on the days that I’ve scheduled myself to be online. That’s Wednesday-Sunday, no skipping out. 🌸 This week I will put my sleep above all else! On the days I stream from until 10 pm, I’ve only gotten 5 hours of sleep. The bright lights. Continuing to talk to people offline. Etc. So, on the days that I stream at night, I will be shutting everything off as soon as I’m offline. I’ll see if this helps me get more than 5 hours on the nights that I stream. 🌸 This week I will focus on a morning routine. A walk first thing, without my phone. Breath work. Journaling/gratitude journal. Call senators for one hour. And learn something new for one hour. THEN I can get to work. 🌸 This week I will get outside and be active every single day for 7 days. I will also pick up the weights 5 times this week. The intention behind this is simply that I want to look SEXY for the airbnb content. And being strong is healthy..

2020-06-26 23:45:05 +0000 UTC View Posta personal fact about me: why I started to eat meat again: (and please still read if you don't agree! challenging ((or just listening to the opposing side)) your bubble of beliefs is important for growth!) ♥ Animal foods have always been a part of the human diet and were an essential part of massive brain growth that occurred over the last 2 million years. ♥ Recent ideas vilifying these foods are based on little more than misleading, cherry-picked epidemiology, with many ignored epi studies from Asia strongly contradicting those done in the West showing negative associations. The "data" you see discrediting the importance of meat is not reliable. There is not ONE single interventional trial showing harm from unprocessed red meat in humans. And there are multiple interventional studies showing benefits (inflammatory markers, etc) with replacing carbohydrates with red meat. If you don't think all cattle can be raised in a regenerative fashion you should read Robb Wolf's new book Sacred Cow. I challenge you to look outside of your own bubble of beliefs and read it! If you're uncomfortable with anything that contradicts your own beliefs, your foundation is rocky, and deep down, you know it! Look beneath, I triple dog dare you :D ♥ Animal meat and organs also contain many nutrients that are very difficult or impossible to obtain from plants: carnitine, choline, carnosine, anserine, taurine, B12, K2 (the full spectrum of menaquinones), creatine, riboflavin, and unique peptides. While I was vegetarian my riboflavin levels were DANGEROUSLY low. Scroll to see a picture of my labs. ♥ ALL of the nutrients that humans need to thrive can be obtained by eating animals from nose to tail (as indigenous groups do), obviating the need for plants as a food source if ample animal foods are available (not using them in their everyday diet.) - How and where you raise the animal counts. The nutrients they eat directly impact the nutrients you get. If your cow is eating PUFAS (corn, soy, gluten) you're directly eating these oils that have been proven to cause cancer and early death. This has worked for me! I can't believe I went so long without the addition of nose to tail from responsibly farmed animals. I do my research on where I get my animals. I have even scheduled time to go see the farm where I get my animals so I can see the entire process and praise the animals that are giving this planet and us humans life.
